La Conterie

The house sits in 3 acres of rural Normandy, just north of the village of Saint Denis Le Gast. Like many old French houses it fell into disrepair until it was bought by Peter and Jan in 2002. Since then it has been lovingly restored re-wired, re-plumbed and furnished to a high standard.
There are five guest bedrooms, one en-suite. One of the many unusual features of the house is the garden furniture, carved from solid stone. The house is reached by a long tree lined drive. It is an ideal setting for a wonderful holiday.
